So here’s kind of an unexpected track from sound artist Nicholas Szczepanik. “Gyre” is essentially two tones, hypnotically wavering just below consciousness. I’m not usually into this type of electronics, but the latest in Szczepanik’s Ante Algo Azul 3” CD-R series is oddly meditative.
