Today I’m starting a short series called Maryland Deathfest Portraits. I’ve met a lot of awesome people throughout the weekend here in Baltimore and I decided to ask them really basic questions about why they love metal, how they got into it and what they do support it. Each post comes with a 5-10 minute interview, a photo and little somethin’-somethin’ about the person(s). Hope y’all enjoy. These will be collected on NPR Music in some fashion soon.
