Don’t know how I feel about the Flaming Lips taking on King Crimson’s In the Court of the Crimson King. Sure, bit of a sacred cow for me (changed my life, blah blah blah), but man, did Lips botch Dark Side of the Moon a couple years back. Still, the decayed Boards of Canada-esque blips of ethereal sound making up the mid-to-end section of “Moonchild” are intriguing.
